interesting day

what a happening day...we have people from india grumbling about the stupid cny voucher terms and conditions, being late as usual, being alone and rushed with tons of sales and returns aka exchange of items, funny osim fella counting my vouchers as $250 when its $200, this is just a few of today's events. i can't possibly list them in detail but i wish i could. so that i can let it all out inside me....

first thing in the morning i get is a lecture from my other supervisor who was in charge of level 3. haha, as usual i just listen and let it flow out of my other ear. then came an indian couple, they wanted to get so porcelain plates that had chinese designs. they showed me the cny voucher and i said that i couldn't charge them with that cuz it clearly states that it can only be redeemed for one item. but the stupid perm staff that was around insist i accept it as they stupidly claim that they same item means one item. i didnt listen and i make my stand of rejecting the cny voucher, so the few perm staff were like repeating their irritating rants at me as if i'm deaf. the couple looked a lil pissed off and decided to use cash to pay for the items.

next thing i want to rant about is the attitude of the supervisors of basement one, at least some are nice but at times they go crazy about their own work and think that doing returns and reversals aint part of their bloody work. first occurance was when my other colleague on the other counter when for lunch break, and i was alone at home essentials dept. then came a supervisor wanting to do a return for a out-spoken and selfish bitch staff. argh..i reluctantly let them have their way, and of course being new, i tend to make mistakes. so i actually keyed in the wrong shit for the freaking credit voucher. and not even bothering to help, both the supervisor and that damn bitch just stand there and curse at my lil mistake. fine, so i just re-did the whole f-ing thing again.

now for some weirdo stuff i would like to add in. usually it isnt common to see a uob mini card which was super small and cute sized. but today it seemed like there was free stuff for using that card. i had i think about 3 customers using that card though its only 3, considering i dont see it at all the past few days. i think it's rare. i feel so full of praise for myself as i managed to clear a long queue during lunch break, it was endless. enough said, i hope i dont get it tomorrow.

did i mention the osim guy with poor maths skills? i think i did in my introduction. haha, actually i dont blame him. the total cost was 1337$ so it was really a huge sum, and the freaking malaysian couple buying it gave me tons of vouchers with different values, ranging from $5 to $50. i counted it and had the sum of 200 while the osim dude said it was 250. i knew something was wrong, but to save time i just continued and proceeded as normal. after the whole thing, i counted again to make sure and without suprise i was short of 50$ of vouchers. i thought i was done for. another pay cut. but luckily that osim guy was nice enough to call up the couple and ask if he could get them to pay him back as he wanted to pay for them first. cuz he lives near them. i hope the malaysians pay him back, cuz i was really grateful.

now on closing, i was short of 38$ initially. as usual i will feel so f-ed. but to my suprise i remembered getting the osim guy's 50$ cuz he helped the stupid malaysian couple pay first so in the end i had an excess, hahahaha. thank god i wont have to pay for the shortage. i think that's all, cuz i really can't conjour up my whole day's experience right?
