I don't understand how anyone from a foreign country sees Singapore as a nation that upholds racial harmony. Maybe it's because of our racial harmony campaign held at schools and stuff. But seriously, Singapore = Lies... Well who cares when you enjoy spraying foam at banglas :D
Was late as usual but no worries, dom was later. So I, Colin, Lan, Elina and her 13yo cousin met at Somerset MRT Station... As always Colin keeps highlighting my 'EMO' hair whenever he sees me. Anyways, as we were strolling out of the station, Colin starts talking about banglas that ripped off a girl's tube(and left her topless) and banglas trapping kids during the Christmas Celebrations in town exactly 1 week ago. It might or might not be true but anyways, THERE WAS INDEED A MILLION BANGLAS in town last night. Orchard road seriously became darker(and smellier), no kidding. Everywhere you go, you could see them in groups and Colin will start saying "They are waiting to prey on girls wearing skimpy clothing" but whatever.
Then Dom called us up and we met at Heeren, where there are still more banglas roaming the streets. Singapore is really small, we met quite a few ex-macphersonians tho they are the ones we didn't want to meet. YA, so we continued down to Paragon where everyone was siting on the steps looking across at Takashimaya's outdoor dance floor or something, I had no idea why they were looking anyway cos there was seriously nothing fantastic to look at. There were many vendors selling the snow spray thingy and most of the crazy people bought them at 6 for $10. Even before it reached midnight, some of them starting spraying at their friends and banglas. YES, it was almost like a war between China and Bangladash. We felt vulnerable without those cans of foam stuff, so we bought some just before midnight. But like all the other crazy people, we couldn't resist spraying. At who? BANGLAS!
As it was approaching midnight, everyone just started spraying like mad for no reason even thought it wasn't 06 yet. Maybe it's because there wasn't a countdown thingy, everyone prolly thought there was like some laser countdown thingy at Takashimaya so they were siting outside Paragon. The entrance of Paragon became a mini skating ring that isn't made of ice. After some crazy spraying, Michelle came to meet us right there after knocking off from Bugis.
Time went by super fast, it was like only 30 minutes but 2 hours has past as we strolled down towards Clarke Quay. They suggested going for a drink or something there. Colin with his expert knowledge of Singapore's roads, took us to Clarke Quay with ease but it was crazy far. Oh well as I mentioned, Singapore is really small..... We actually met Poh and Chris outside a toilet at Clarke Quay, specifically the one near Ministry of Sound. They were just out of Indochine and apparently Chris got a smooch from an ang moh, HAHAHAHA! They suggested going to the free thingy at the end of the quay, but they were about to end already. So we ended up slacking at one of the river side cafe chairs. But then....... we had to move after half an hour or so cos they wanted to rearrange the furniture. SO we moved on to the faraway 7eleven across a bridge where there was like 5 police cars. Colin and Dom wanted to get themselves vodkas but Dom had not enough money and Colin changed his mind, then we spotted a bak ku teh stall across the street. It was pretty much top class bak ku teh, it tasted almost like the world class one at balestier. It was about 5.30am so we headed to Clarke Quay MRT Station to wait for the first train home. It was a great idea cos everyone else that went to Clarke Quay was there. Either sleeping off the wall or smoking and chilling out with their friends. At around 6, the shutter started rising and everyone dragged themsleves into the station , only to find themselves waiting another 30mins for the train to arrive. But yeah time went by super incredibily fast, and we took the first ever train of 2006 home. Oh, we met for the first time in the year 2006 as well. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Did I mention we saw many banglas holding hands? One of the couples even touched a lady's ass! Too bad she was ugly. HAHAHA!
