I remember trying to fall asleep the day before, but I guess my bod clock is screwed by dotA games at night.
Congrats to the whole of ACFC for the win over Osiris FC. I can see that you guys put in alot of effort to beat Osiris FC on Saturday. Even though we faced defeat the last time we gathered, I'm glad we didn't face another disappointing result. Maybe we're actually better at field rather than street. :) Oh! Lan, your reason for letting in a freak goal was somehow unconvincing but still, concentrate and not think of someone else when you're playing goalie, cause you'll never know what's coming. Haha!
The match started with full of confidence from the whole team. I remember the look on everyone's faces when we conceded our first goal, I was standing at half line watching as they tored our defense apart. Never mind that though cause we equalised almost immediately with Dom powering a shot straight into the back of the net. But few moments later we were down again, the half ended with the scoreline of 2-1 to Osiris. Well, not exactly a half time. Just that we all took a good break after long legs blasted the ball into the jungle. Haha! Talking about the jungle, the pitch over there was totally out of my imagination. When I first heard we were playing with posts, I thought in my mind with a vision something like St. Wilfred or something. It was horrible playing without proper gear. Still, we managed to pull one back after our break ended and the proper half time follows.
It took quite long after half time before any action followed. Due to the teamwork and excellent defending from both teams especially the partnership among Colin, Jonny and Kenneth. Kudos to 3 of them for doing especially well on that day, putting their bodies on the line. Finally action starts when I grabbed a lucky chance to tap in the ball from -insert name here-, I forgot who passed me but it was all good. From then we were downing Osiris with goals from Dom and Chris. This sums up all the highlights but the moment worth mentioning was when Lan got lobbed, HAHAHA!. Well, great team and funny fellas. I enjoyed the match, I would say the man of the match would be Kelvin. No doubts about my choice cause with all his shouting, he could has gone voiceless for the rest of the day and even his teammates from Osiris says he is exceptionally enthusiatic on that day. Haha! Thanks for the leadership, Kave. We could have lost without you.
